Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona is a historic Brunello di Montalcino estate on the southeastern slopes of Montalcino near Castelnuovo dell’Abate and the Romanesque Abbey of Sant’Antimo. The property traces its roots to the 17th century and a palazzo built for the Bishop of Montalcino; it later passed to the Ciacci family in 1877 and, upon Countess Elda Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona’s death in 1985, was bequeathed to longtime estate manager Giuseppe Bianchini.
