Château Troplong Mondot is a leading Saint-Émilion estate, ranked Premier Grand Cru Classé and dramatically sited at the highest point of the appellation, overlooking the medieval village. Its origins go back to the 18th century, when the abbé Raymond de Sèze built the château in 1745 and established the Mondot estate.
