Chateau Suduiraut

Château Suduiraut is one of the historic great estates of Sauternes, its roots traceable to the late 16th century when the d’Allard property took the Suduiraut name after the marriage of Nicole d’Allard and Léonard de Suduiraut. The original manor was destroyed during the Fronde and rebuilt in the 17th century as the present château, set amid formal gardens designed by Louis XIV’s famed gardener André Le Nôtre.
