Chateau Laroque

Château Laroque is a historic Saint-Émilion estate whose roots stretch back to the 12th century, when it served as a fortified stronghold overlooking the Dordogne valley. Rebuilt in the 17th–18th centuries and sometimes nicknamed a “Petit Versailles,” it is today owned by the Beaumartin family and sits on a high limestone plateau in Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes, just east of the village of Saint-Émilion.
