Chateau Haut-Brion

Château Haut-Brion, based in Pessac on the outskirts of Bordeaux, is one of the five historic First Growths of Bordeaux and the only one located outside the Médoc. Vines have been cultivated on its gravelly slopes since at least the 15th century, and the estate took formal shape in the early 16th century under Jean de Pontac.
