Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste is a fifth growth (Cinquième Cru Classé) estate in Pauillac, on Bordeaux’s Left Bank, whose history as a wine property stretches back to at least the 16th century. The name “Grand-Puy” refers to the gravel hill on which the vineyards sit, while “Lacoste” comes from the family that owned the estate at the time of the 1855 Classification.
