Château Gloria is a highly regarded but unclassified estate in Bordeaux’s Saint-Julien appellation, created parcel by parcel in the mid‑20th century by the dynamic vigneron Henri Martin. Beginning in the late 1930s and continuing through the 1960s, Martin patiently bought small plots of vines—often from some of the Médoc’s most prestigious classed growths such as Beychevelle, Gruaud-Larose, Léoville-Barton and others—gradually assembling around 50 hectares on the appellation’s prized Günzian gravel.
