Casanova di Neri is one of the modern standard-bearers of Brunello di Montalcino. Founded in 1971 by grain merchant Giovanni Neri, the estate grew from a mixed farm on the eastern side of Montalcino into a focused fine-wine property, with Sangiovese replanted and expanded in carefully chosen sites.
