Arkenstone

Arkenstone is a small, family-run estate perched on the western shoulder of Napa Valley’s Howell Mountain, with vineyards rising from around 1,400 to more than 1,650 feet above sea level. Founded by Ron and Susan Krausz, the property’s first vines were planted in the late 1990s, with guidance from noted consultant Philippe Melka, who helped match specific soil types to appropriate Bordeaux varieties.
